Nutritional benefits

Peaches are healthy as they contain vitamins A, B, C, D and E as well as various minerals (e.g. potassium and phosphorus) needed by the body. Peaches also contain beta-carotene, which is a form of inactive vitamin A, especially known from carrots.

So the short answer is: yes, peach juice and peach juice are healthy.

Although peach juice usually also contains these vitamins and minerals, some commercial juice products may have a reduced amount of them.

This is because some manufacturing processes can damage the vitamins and minerals, reducing their concentration.

However, if you make your own peach juice – as in the recipe below – you don't break down the vitamins and minerals. This ensures you get “all the best” from the juice.
